Our Referral Network for Clinical and Non-Clinical Agencies - At No Charge
Seniors Home Services maintains relationships with both clinical and non-clinical agencies across the country and we are happy to provide un-biased referrals to those we feel would be best suited to your needs. If you are not sure which service would apply to you or your loved one, please read below.
About Clinical Home Health Care Agencies
Short-term clinical home health care services are generally prescribed by a licensed clinician affiliated with a hospital, rehab or nursing home from which a patient is being discharged. Service is generally provided in two one-hour sessions per week for 30-60 days, although this may be extended when medically necessary. There is no one else providing care for the other hours/days that the patient is at home. The in-home clinician checks vital signs, healing of wounds, mental well-being, etc. Payment is generally covered by Medicare (65 and older), or by private insurance.
For the many hours a week, including nights, that the patient is at home alone, we suggest our NeverHomeAloneTM service for affordable 24/7 oversight of your loved one.
About Non- Clinical Home Care Agencies
Non-clinical home care helps people, often as they are aging, with ADLs, or Activities of Daily Living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry, and may also run errands, such as grocery and Rx shopping and pick-up. Although Medicare does not pay for these services, those qualified may receive financial assistance from Medicaid, long-term care insurance, Veterans’ benefits, and/or Workers’ compensation. Service can range from 24/7 to just several hours a day, several days a week depending on the family’s resources
